Known for its beautiful surrounding countryside, rolling hills and farmland, Long Buckby, a charming village and parish in Northhamptonshire England plays a key role in Maclaren’s rich history. Our founder, Owen Maclaren invented the first collapsible buggy just eight short miles away at his converted stables in the town of Barby. Soon after, Maclaren operations were moved to Long Buckby where millions of buggies were manufactured, a great boon to the local economy at the time. Maclaren to this day still has active operations in Long Buckby.
